Release notes for our 2D blueprint parsing engine, CNC machining calculators, sheet metal quoting, and PPAP packages on request. We ship continuously; this is what's live.

Sheet metal quoting in testing ยท PPAP packages on request, early

  • Sheet metal quoting, in testing. A formed print is run through a sheet-metal model instead of the machining model, and every quote is checked for reading mistakes before it's sent. No customer has sent one yet, so no live claim.
  • PPAP packages, on request. Early. Ask for PPAP, FAI or AS9102 with a print and the quote comes back with a ballooned copy of the drawing, a characteristics sheet, a bill of materials and a CSV. Balloons come from the print's own text layer, so a scanned print gets the table only.
  • CNC machining cost calculator and blueprint takeoff running on the same unified engine.
Validation: an enforced Dual-Pass Verification Loop, Pass 1 extracts, Pass 2 audits and self-corrects, with a targeted re-parse on any contradiction, for high-confidence geometric feature extraction. Nothing auto-ships: I check every quote, and low-confidence reads are flagged for that check.

Estimating ground-truth codified into pricing

  • Scrap allowance by lot size, FAI / AS9102 line items, and outside-process lot minimums.
  • Tight-tolerance (≤±.001") flagged on the quote for a closer look.
  • Per-quote sanity-check layer (rate floor, machine-minute heuristic, material-share flag) to stop catastrophic under-quotes.

  • Email intake: forward a print, the engine prices it, and I check it before the itemized quote goes back to you.
