# Zenith Quoting

> Zenith Quoting runs the Zenith Quoting Desk, a done-for-you quoting service (outsourced estimating) for small CNC machine shops. A shop emails its RFQ prints to Zenith. Zenith's founder, Malik Carey, prices each print on the shop's own machines and rates, in the shop's own account in the Zenith Tool, and checks every line. The shop gets back a finished, itemized quote with its own logo and sends it under its own name.

## What the Desk does
* Intake: the shop emails RFQ prints to quotes@zenithquoting.com, the way it would forward them to an estimator. A PDF works best; a scan or a clear phone photo of the print also works.
* Pricing: each print is priced on the shop's own machines and rates, and every line is checked before the quote goes back.
* Output: a finished, itemized quote with the shop's logo: material, setup, programming, run time and inspection, each on its own line. Anything Zenith is unsure of is flagged on the quote, not hidden.
* The shop reviews the quote, changes anything it wants, and sends it under its own name. Zenith never contacts the shop's customer.
* Calibration: it starts with a few prints the shop has already quoted, with the price it sent or its shop rates. Zenith prices them on the shop's numbers and sends them back side by side, line by line. When the shop says which quotes it won and lost, Zenith's numbers move toward the shop's.
* Zenith Tool login: every shop also gets its own login to the Zenith Tool (app.zenithquoting.com), Zenith's own quoting software. It shows each value read from the print next to the price line it drives, and the shop can price a part itself. Using it is optional; email alone works.

## Scope
* Covered: turned and mill-turn parts made from bar or tube, quoted from 2D prints, priced on the machine the shop would run them on (CNC lathe, Swiss-type lathe or mill-turn center).
* Not covered: ITAR or export-controlled prints. Every print is checked for export markings on Zenith's own computer first, and a marked print is held and never sent to an AI service. Sheet metal and weldments are not part of the Desk yet.
* Zenith is not CMMC certified and not registered under ITAR.

## Pricing
* The first 10 prints are free while Zenith learns the shop's rates.
* Then $399 a month for up to 40 prints, plus $10 per extra print.
* The first five shops lock in $199 a month for 12 months.
* Nothing is charged unless the shop agrees to it in writing.
